Alphonso makes his debut with Ujima Theatre to work with long-time friend Ron Pitts. Alphonso, a Columbus, Ohio native has performed plays for Center Stage, Sgt. Brown, Carmen Jones musical and also toured with Ellis Productions, performing such plays as, The King, You Don't Know What the Lord Told Me and Lord Send Me a Real Woman. Alphonso has performed voice-overs for radio and is an experienced musician, singer, writer and is the Pastor of New Fellowship Baptist Church.
